Badr Adduja, “A Splendid Twist of Crafts,” was born in 1999 under the patronage of HRH Princess Muna Al Hussein. It gave a different dimension to Arts and Crafts in Jordan and the Middle East.

It  concentrated on the concept of upcycling in its mission to revive, promote and develop our Arabian Culture and Heritage.

Upcycling is reusing materials without degrading the quality and composition of them for next use.

• It is taking an item that is no longer needed or wanted and giving it new life, as something that is either useful or creative.
• This  seemingly basic concept  is innovative and implies environmental consciousness and has sparked an exciting revolution with this generation.

Badr Adduja Trends and concept of design are developed as the  following:

• Representing Heritage pieces in a new perspective that tackles our memories.
• Utilizing our old handicrafts aesthetically to blend within our modern life style.
• Creating new concepts with a signature of our tradition.

Badr Adduja has been providing work since 15 years, for more than 30 artisans and few designers, ensuring them income stability, while sustaining their traditional skills towards preserving the richness of Arabian culture and heritage.

It is the signature of novel crafts charged with traditional authenticity, handmade by local artisans, with the personal creativity of Founder and Designer May Mikhail Khoury.

Badr Adduja Vision is to stand and be recognized as  one of the most exclusive, innovative houses of design in the Middle East.
