Not far from the famous Museum Island, the Museum THE KENNEDYS presents one of the most extensive collections about the family history of the Kennedys. Numerous photographs, rare video recordings, historical documents, and personal belongings of the Kennedys bring the charisma of this extraordinary family back to life in an architecturally inspiring atmosphere.
The exhibition focuses on John F. Kennedy’s life and his term as president of the United States. His sympathy with the divided Berlin, which he expressed with his famous words »Ich bin ein Berliner« on June 26, 1963, earned him a special spot in the hearts of many Germans.
Throughout the year the museum also presents changing special exhibitions about different topics related to the Kennedy family.
ACCESSIBILITY
Museum THE KENNEDYS has gone to great efforts to enable barrier-free access for all visitors. The heritage-protected Former Jewish Girls’ School, in which the museum is located on the third floor, is accessible through the side entrance to the left of the main entrance.
