HOW TO REACH
By Air:
Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is the main international airport, located about 8 km from the city center. The airport offers direct flights to many European cities and some long-haul destinations. From the airport, you can get to the city center by train (Cercanías C1, about 12–15 minutes), express bus (Line A, about 20–25 minutes), or taxi (about 15 minutes).
By Train:
High-speed AVE trains connect Málaga with major Spanish cities. The journey from Madrid takes around 2.5 hours, from Seville about 2 hours, and from Barcelona about 6 hours. All long-distance trains arrive at Málaga-María Zambrano station, which is close to the city center.
By Bus:
Intercity buses link Málaga with cities across Spain. The main bus station is near the train station, making transfers easy.
By Car:
Málaga is accessible via the A-45 (from the north) and A-7 (coastal) highways. Car rentals are widely available, especially at the airport, but parking in the city center can be limited.
From Overseas:
If traveling from outside Europe, fly to a major European hub (such as Madrid or Barcelona) and then connect to Málaga by plane, train, or bus.
