HOW TO REACH

You can reach Chiang Mai by several convenient methods:

By Air: The fastest way is to fly. Chiang Mai International Airport is well connected to Bangkok and other major cities, with flight times from Bangkok around 1 to 1.5 hours.

By Train: Trains depart regularly from Bangkok’s main stations to Chiang Mai. The journey takes about 10 to 14 hours, with options for daytime or overnight sleeper trains.

By Bus: Buses from Bangkok’s Mochit Bus Terminal travel to Chiang Mai’s Arcade Bus Terminal. The trip takes about 10 to 12 hours, with choices ranging from standard to VIP classes.

By Car: You can also drive or hire a private taxi for the roughly 700-kilometer journey from Bangkok, which takes about 9 to 10 hours.

Flying is the quickest and most convenient option, while trains and buses offer scenic and budget-friendly alternatives. Once you arrive, the airport and bus/train stations are close to the city center,
