HOW TO REACH

By Train
From Milan:

Take a direct train from Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni station (about 40–50 minutes).

Alternatively, from Milano Cadorna station, take a train to Como Lago station (about 1 hour).

Both stations are centrally located in Como and connect well with local buses and ferries.

From Milan Airports:

From Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa Express to Saronno, then transfer to a train for Como Lago (total journey about 1 hour 20 minutes).

From Linate or Bergamo airports, take a shuttle or train to Milano Centrale, then follow the directions above.

By Car
From Milan:

Drive north on the A9 motorway towards Como (about 1 hour, 52 km). Take the Como Centro exit for the city center.

From Switzerland, follow the A9 or local roads to the border at Chiasso, then continue into Como.

By Bus
Buses connect Como with Milan and other towns in the region. The main bus station is in Piazza Matteotti, near the train stations.

By Boat
Ferries and hydrofoils operate on Lake Como, connecting Como with towns such as Bellagio, Menaggio, and Varenna. The main ferry terminal is at Piazza Cavour.

By Air
The closest major airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Bergamo Orio al Serio. From the airport, continue by train, bus, or car as described above.
