The Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow, is the first Russian museum dedicated to photography, contemporary art, and new media. One of the main principles of the museum is full openness to the new forms of visual expression and the search for innovative trends in the field of Russian and foreign photography and media art. The museum was founded in 1996 by Olga Sviblova, who has been its changeless director.
