HOW TO REACH

There are several ways to reach Athens, depending on your starting point and preferences:

By Air:
Athens is served by the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", located about 35 km from the city center. Many international airlines offer flights to Athens from major cities worldwide.

Once you arrive at the airport, you have multiple options to reach the city center:

1. Metro: Take Line 3 (Blue Line) from the airport to the city center. It runs every 30 minutes from 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM and takes about 40 minutes to reach Syntagma Square.

2. Bus: The X95 express bus connects the airport to Syntagma Square 24/7. The journey takes about 60 minutes, depending on traffic.

3. Taxi: Available 24/7 outside the airport. The ride to the city center takes approximately 40 minutes and costs around 38 euros.

4. Private transfer: You can arrange for a driver to meet you at the airport and take you directly to your destination.

By Sea:
If you're coming from the Greek islands, ferries arrive at the port of Piraeus, which is connected to the city center by metro, bus, and taxi services.

By Land:
If you're traveling from other parts of Greece or neighboring countries, long-distance buses (KTEL) and trains connect Athens to various destinations. The main bus terminals are located in Kifissos and Liossion Street.
