Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute is a fine arts center dedicated to serving diverse audiences by advancing the appreciation, understanding, and enjoyment of the arts. ACCESSIBILITY
Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute facilities provide wheelchair access to the physically challenged.
Two wheelchairs are onsite and available to our visitors. You may phone ahead by dialing (315) 797-0000 and we will have one waiting at the entrance when you arrive.
Large print programs are available upon request.
Hearing reinforcement through a variety of lightweight convenient receivers is offered free of charge. A TDD device can be accessed by contacting us at (315) 797-0000.
Interpreters for the hearing impaired are also available by request.
HOW TO REACH
From Points East or West – Take New York State Thruway (1-90) Exit 31, follow Downtown Utica signs, and proceed 1.5 miles south on Genesee Street.
From Points South – Routes 12 & 8 to Downtown Utica, take Court Street Exit, proceed two blocks, turn right onto State Street, proceed three blocks.
From Points North – Routes 12 & 8, follow Arts District signs to Court Street exit, turn left, proceed one blocks, turn right onto State Street, proceed three blocks.
ADMISSION
Permanent collection galleries are free and open to the public.
Special exhibitions may have a fee.
