For the construction of the city hall, completed in 1962, was used brick as well as a combination of traditional and modern materials. The west wing, originally intended for residential use, was altered in the years 1970-80 for serve as work spaces. At present, the city hall building is under renovation. It is expected to be completed at the end of 2018.
